"We passed through the area on a cold and windy morning. Nothing was open yet but we stopped and took some photos. Noticed the water tower peeking out over the street as well as the Handle Bar and Grill across the street."

"What a great place! Not only was the photo opp lovely, but the host was also very friendly! He gave us commemorative badges and a map. There were also lots of interesting merchandise. I highly recommend anyone passing by to check it out!"

"This review is dedicated to my older sister, Jeri, who passed last year 🥺. I love and miss you sis, no matter how stubborn we both are!! ❤️ I know my sister went on her cross country adventure with a friend of hers while she was still unemployed and to think I was in some of the same exact places that she was just blows my mind 🤯🤯! I went to Amarillo Route66 after seeing it listed in the local attractions and recalling the stories from her trip. I’m sure it looks completely different than when she went, but it was a must see before heading back home. It was later, around 7:00 pm and most shops were closed but I did manage to get some pics from the journey! The wall art on various buildings is pretty cool to see too!!"

"If you saw the animated movie cars you will recognize some of the buildings as similar to key sets in the film. It's a fun detour, doesn't take long and if you like shopping it's all there ."

"We visited on a Sunday morning and were greeted by several stray dogs. It was a ghost town. Awesome stroll through an old western town."
