"This was such a fun experience! Came early on a weekday, the place was pretty much empty. We got to take our time driving about the space! The animals are fun and love approaching the car. They will get in your way to get food so definitely get some. Plenty of animals about the property had no issues with them getting close to the car, mostly very gentle. The llamas will follow you around for food. Overall great time!"

"We absolutely love Arbuckle Wilderness! It’s one of our favorite places to visit, and we make a point to go at least once every year. The drive-through safari is always such a fun and unique experience, especially getting to see the animals up close. It never gets old, and each visit feels special. It’s well worth the trip and a tradition our family truly enjoys. Highly recommend for all ages!"

"I was driving from TX to OKC when I saw a sign about this place. I decided to stop by and since it’s Monday, there was no line to get in. Met the owner, he was really nice and friendly! I was a bit scared since it was my first time going through safari, alone also, but animals were nice. I fed mostly lamas and donkeys. Ducks were kinda in a way. I also saw 2 beautiful white wolfs. I’d advise saving it for the bigger animals in the end such as bisons, ostriches and zebras. I didn’t open the window for them because I ran out of food. Overall nice experience if you’re passing by and want to do something different and fun!"

"I took my sister from Florida here today. Our true experience follows. We arrived at the gift shop went in took a picture of some animal to the left. Bought a couple of tshirts, a bracelet, tickets and some feed. 3 cups worth for 6 bucks. We went through the gate , saw a couple of Emu's and another animal. You drive for a bit until you see more. Roads are rough but if you have kids with you it adds to the safari feel for them, shuuuush driver. The main animals are along the driving path and you can get close enough for photos to most. All the folks that work there were very friendly. We had no issues whatsoever there. My sister who loved it would've given 5 stars but she wasn't driving. Never needed to wash zebra slobber off the car before, how cool is that? I think kids would have a great time here with the proper parent enthusiasm. 😁"

"At Arbuckle Wilderness, I felt there were slightly fewer animals than expected, but it was still wonderful to see animals freely roaming around. It was a very fun experience, and kids will definitely enjoy it. Even adults feel like kids again while watching the animals up close. One important thing to note is to keep your car windows completely open at times while feeding the animals. Opening half and half can damage your car windows and may also be harmful to both the animals and yourself. This happened to us at a different center, not here—but it’s an important safety precaution to keep in mind."
