"Beautiful area. We went for the "Eagle Watch" but the eagles were not aware. We did see a juvenile just as we were about to leave. He was large and very graceful. Fun fact: an young eagle perched on top of a tree looks a lot like big chicken!!"

"A nice area for day use and camping. It's easily accessible from I-35. Campground sites and day use areas have picnic tables, grills and fire pits. Restrooms are clean and the area is well maintained. There is a low day use fee. Camping fees are lower than many campgrounds in the area."

"Arcadia Lake Review I recently had the pleasure of visiting Arcadia Lake, and I can confidently say it’s a hidden gem that’s perfect for an evening out. We decided to go for sunset and moonrise, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The park and lake are expansive, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the highlights of our visit was exploring the countless walking and biking trails that wind through the area. There are so many paths to choose from, making it easy to find a route that suits your pace and preference. We opted to walk on the dam for an elevated view, and it was well worth it—the panoramic scenery was stunning, with the colors of the sunset reflecting off the water. The atmosphere at Arcadia Lake is incredibly inviting, making it a fantastic spot for a date or a family outing. There’s plenty of space to spread out, have a picnic, or simply enjoy nature. The peaceful surroundings create a romantic setting, especially as the sun begins to set and the moon starts to rise. Overall, Arcadia Lake is a wonderful destination that offers both beauty and recreation. Whether you’re looking to take a leisurely stroll, bike ride, or just soak in the scenery, this park has it all. I’ll definitely be returning to enjoy more sunsets and the natural beauty that this place has to offer!"

"We went bike riding on the new trails for the first time. They are very nice! It just makes you wanting more. We rode the length twice. I hope they plan to connect the north side to the south side some time really soon."
