2 months ago"The Billy the Kid Museum in Fort Sumpter, New Mexico, is much later than it appears. We really enjoyed our visit and speaking with the folks that operate it. They have a large collection of original Billy the Kid memorabilia but also a great collection of antique vehicles and much more. A great and eclectic collection well worth seeing. Will definitely stop again."

7 months ago"$6 for seniors or $7 regular entry. I'm surprised there was so much to see inside. It's like taking a step back into the early 1800's. Tons of information about Billy the Kid and his friends. Plan on spending 60-90 minutes seeing everything and reading about all the items and how they relate to Billy. Worth the stop."

3 months ago"Loved the time era pieces that were on display and all the articles posted about Billy the Kid. My favorite would have to be the actual rifle that he used and gave away. The lady who was working was very helpful and friendly, enjoyed speaking with her. I would come here again."

My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the 2 ladies working there were either not having a good day or just don't like there job because they were not pleasant. But I still recommend seeing this it really is awesome."
