"Stunning views, accessible, wide trails, crystal clear water and pink granite boulders. Kid friendly 5+, Wouldn't recommend for toddlers but there is a small creek area before the shut in area off the trail that would be good for littles."

"What a magical place to hike, swim, commune with nature. Upper Shut ins are more cliff like and then the lower shut ins has a good waterfall and opens up to broader swimming hole. In the middle there was a small jump into 6 feet of water. So much fun"

"This is a great place to go with the whole family. The smooth rocks in the water are very slippery so do you need to bring swimming shoes. I slipped 3 times as I did not have swimming shoes. It is dog friendly. If you're looking to hike, like me, I wouldn't say this is the best place but there's definitely a beaten path although there are some fallen trees obstructing the path. There's also a hunting area if you're into that. The scenery is really beautiful overall. Oh and I found mullein. If you know, you know. -Essence Malika"

"Sunny, shady walk, wood chips instead of gravel on path made it a comfortable walk to the shutins. Even got a great view and (non touch) interaction with an armadillo. No good pictures of him."

"Such a fun place to visit! Trail to get there was well maintained with new wood chips added recently. Not buggy or muddy. The water was the perfect temperature, cool enough to be a relief from the summer heat but not too cold. Not crowded at all on a Wednesday afternoon."
