7 months ago"The Chicago Harbor Lighthouse is beautiful and rich with history, but I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t get a closer view from land. I didn’t realize ahead of time that you need to take a boat tour to get a better look. It’s definitely worth seeing, but I would recommend doing a little research beforehand or booking a boat tour if you want the full experience. Still, it’s a striking sight from a distance and adds charm to the lakefront skyline."

a month ago"Small but charming landmark right on Lake Michigan. The lighthouse is neat to see up close and makes for a nice photo, especially with the water and skyline in the background. It does not take long to visit, and it never feels crowded like some of the bigger attractions. It’s not grand or dramatic, but there is a simple, quiet appeal to it. Best appreciated as a peaceful pause during a walk along the lake rather than a major stop on its own. Solid little piece of Chicago’s lakeside character."
