"Beautiful state park! The green hills and flowers were absolutely breathtaking! The canyon loop was easy and enjoyable but anything else had me gasping for breath with those inclines! Even with that I would still 100% recommend, the views were more than worth it!"

"There are many trails along the road. Good for hiking trail for short or long distance. But it is better for mountain biking or trail running with some elevation."

"Absolutely beautiful underated park! Incredible views and tons of trails. Trails are closed for at least 48 hours after rainfall due to clay content in the soil. It gets super muddy and slippery. Theres plenty of really nice picnic areas and overlooks. If you are camping here make sure to arrive before 5:00 p.m. the gates get locked, you'll have to ask a ranger for a code to the gate so you could get in and out."

"We walked along Bane Ridge. First time and it was gorgeous weather and views of the rolling hills (as of December). Bane Ridge had some elevation to get to the top but the views are totally worth it. Hope to be back in Spring for Wildflowers 🙏 Entrance wasn't attended, so entry vehicle fee is (my best guess) by honor system. At entrance near restrooms is a QR code to link to the parking fee ~$10. Cell service for us was spotty so luckily could connect to the park WiFi to properly pay for fee online at the entrance. Also, better to download a map for the trails before heading into the park so you can navigate without issue. Only few parking spots at the two main outlooks and larger lot at the end of the main road. Probably have to plan ahead during Spring flower season. Even not busy we saw people walk along the road from the main street just outside the park, though a far walk up towards the entrance and then into the park."

"I recently took a walk at Chino Hills State Park (2/14) and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. It was getting late so I only went 2 miles in on the paved road. The trails were well maintained and clearly marked, making it easy to explore without any confusion. The beautiful green hills rolling in every direction were stunning and made the entire hike feel peaceful and refreshing. It’s such an easy hike that it’s perfect for beginners, families, or anyone just looking for a relaxing walk outdoors. The gentle elevation changes provide light exercise without being tiring or overwhelming. I loved how quiet it felt, even though it’s conveniently close to town. There were plenty of scenic spots to pause, take photos, and enjoy the wide-open views. Overall, it was a simple, enjoyable, and uplifting hike that I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for an easy outdoor escape. *Free street parking just outside of the entrance."
