"The trail gets crowded but the parking lot is nicely controlled by the park rangers. I personally like to start the loop on the right as there is some shade going uphill. Other than that there isn't much shade but its a nice trail overall."

"Me and my brother in Christ was hiking at Claremont hills wilderness park and first and foremost Jesus was right there with us the whole time keeping us safe:).🙏❤️ This absolute beauty was nature at its core🙏❤️ Many nice views, you get a nice breeze with shade, a beautiful colored lizard who does not run away in the bushes who seems like your pet who is super close to you. It may just be that one lizard but it may still be there. Nice restroom spots throughout the trail. Nice benches where you can rest and pray and just take a deep breath. Nice trees and we saw possibly mountain lion foot prints on the side of the trail. I found a heart rock that looks exactly like a ❤️ in the dirt. Beautiful smiles from people that you encounter throughout the trail. A lot of wildlife even though we did not see a bear, rattlesnake, deer and so forth but they have them there. All in all it’s a beautiful place that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has created. You can take family and anyone there. Great parking and it’s not too expensive. Beautiful and amazing views and you can take pictures. A 5 mile loop about 2 hours or a little longer. You guys would enjoy this special hike but the most precious gift of all time is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior of your life because in heaven you will see things that are mind boggling:).🙏❤️ Jesus loves everyone and your beautiful family:).🙏❤️ John 3:16-For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life:).🙏❤️"

"The Claremont loop takes about 2 hours or 2 and a half hours walking at a regular pace cause of the elevation. About an hour or less for running. There's paid parking at the base of the trail which will cover four (or more hours if you're gonna hike away from the loop.) it's 5 miles. Beautiful views of the mountains and surrounding towns."

"Great spot to come for a hike, and it connects to many other trails in the area. Parking is paid, $5 on the weekdays and $7 on weekends. The only downside is that it gets VERY crowded, sometimes you won't find parking in either lot. There's basically no other parking unless you go all the way down to the Vons. Just plan ahead and you'll have a great time, there's bathrooms and places to rest along the trail. Make sure to bring water!"
