a month ago"The climatron is a fantastic spot in the Missouri Botanical Gardens. It is a geodesic dome that contains a tropical rainforest, complete with waterfalls, palm trees, and other tropical plants. The exterior is especially beautiful during the Garden Glow over the holidays"

10 months ago"PROs: Aside from the Japanese Garden, this came in 1st place of enjoyment. The waterfall is beautiful. The tropic plants reminded me of home. CONs: Some exhibits were closed. This area did get crowded. Parking and entrance is off Shaw Blvd. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle."

2 years ago"The Climatron is definitely one place you don’t want to miss when you visit the Botanical Gardens! It is the closest we will ever get to visiting the Rain Forest! One big plus is there are no snakes or spiders in the Climatron. There are several waterfalls in the building too! We enjoyed looking at all the exotic trees and plants on our excursion into the wild! #summerbucketlist"

4 years ago"Outstanding geodesic bio dome! It has a pleasant walking path that takes you behind a water fall and makes you fell like you are in a tropical rainforest. Highly recommend if you are at the Botanical Gardens. Bring your camera as there will be plenty of scenic spots."
