"Jopin has done an amazing job putting this park back together and representing those who lost their lives. Definitely worth the small hike around the lake and butterfly garden before lunch and our 4 hour drive home."

"Such a wonderful memorial to the 2011 tornado. As someone who loved through Katrina, you could feel the pain and triumph from the destruction."

"Picturesque park on the edge of town. Multiple parks to choose from. Wheelchair and stroller friendly! Walking path around a pond with fountain. Sculptures and art everywhere! Only minus is you have to cross highway to get from playgrounds to walking path surrounding pond! Lovely memorial to the old hospital and all who helped clean up after tornado damage that destroyed it."

"This was a perfect place to stretch out after a long drive. They have a playground for big and small kids. My children had fun sliding down on their long slides. The sink in the bathroom has no water, and they have a drinking water fountain, but there is no water as well."

"Been here many times. A memorial park dedicated to the victims of the Joplin tornado. Still beautiful after 12 years but definitely needs updated/fixed/cleaned."
