"Love this float! Beautiful scenery, family friendly, beaches, SPRING FED RIVER with water so clean you can clearly see schools of fish and sand at the bottom as you float along! The beautiful aqua blue lagoons and the historic abandoned hospital are just a few impressive sights to take in. Camp along the river on the beaches or contact local camp ground in the area. I always rent my rafts, kayaks, ect from Jadwins Canoe Rental, where they provide transportation from their business to the river drop off and pick up."

"Current River State Park is a gorgeous piece if land hidden from the main roads. The original property and buildings were owned by a box company out of Alton Illinois, it was designed as an executive getaway spot. Today, you can enjoy this beautiful views access to the river and three places in which to fish. Highly suggested!!"

"A work in progress. Very awesome setting with a couple lakes, right on the river, cool old lodge and cabins, with some trails. The drive in is a bit rough, but that is common in this area. Most of the cool stuff is a mile plus down a hilly gravel road. Only reason it doesn't get a 5 from me is because the site is not quite done yet. Views on the way in and out are nice when there are no leaves on the trees. Gives you a panoramic view of the surrounding hilltops."

"Nice little park, but the facilities were still closed when I arrived. It lost a star since the road in and out was rough gravel. Hiked several of the teails which were in good condition, but wish I have better views of the current river"
