Dino Drive-Thru at Meteor City

"Omgosh it's open finally. My wait is over. I love Dinosaurs and if you love Dinosaurs as much as I do you need to visit this shop. It has a little of everything for anybody. I love that is has kinda a mini-Jurassic Park kind of feeling to it. It is right off the I-40 and if you're going east or west on the 40 it is a quick stop with plenty of parking to suit anybody. I enjoyed my time and I will be back."

"I thought we were going to miss the opening by a day, but we were lucky they had a soft opening the day before, so we had to stop in. It had been so exciting watching the rebuilding on FB. It's a place we used to stop by years ago. It truly is awesome to see it open again, and what a great place to stop, especially if you have kids. There is a lot packed into this little place. Lots of picture ops, catch a duck, ride a Dino, do the Dino drive through, pan for minerals.... there are oddities, and curiosities, and oh yes, the gift shop. It definitely has a little something for everyone. Incense, candles, jewelry, toys, minerals, mugs, magnets etc etc. We talked to the young man at the front desk, who was extremely helpful and friendly, about the past, and plans for the future. We are in our sixties, and did the drive through just for fun. A must stop when you're traveling along Route 66. It sure is nice to see life brought back to the old place."

"This place is a goldmine for family fun. If you have 30-60 minutes to spare, you can easily see the entire place. The dinosaur drive-thru is fascinating especially that it is near Meteor Crater. Make sure to play the Jurassic Park theme prior to going through the tour."

"Excellent experience! Restored Route 66 attraction, easy access off the freeway. Friendly staff with great customer service, clean restroom, lots of unique goodies in the well organized gift shop. We had a great time there! Highly recommend the gem mining sluice and the dinosaur drive through!"
