"What an oasis! I can't believe no one is here. Crazy low rates for full hookup. Several pull through big rig friendly sites. Some are 30 and some 50 amp. Convenient to I40 and Rt.66. Great tasting water with good pressure. The electric boxes are in excellent condition. Some spots are shaded. Quiet and safe location. Owner, Randy, answered the phone every time I've called. Someone is missing out on this place. Accepts Passport America discounts."

"Perfect spot for an overnight stay when traveling through the area. This is a bare bones park, but don’t let that or the appearance deter you. Double D has FULL hookups, 30 & 50 amp electric, water pressure at 50psi, which, if you don’t know, is great and level sites. Sites are pull through. We have a 38 ft Class A motor home, towing a Jeep & did not need to unhook. The best part is the price and if you are a Passport America member it is 50% off, even on the weekends. We paid $16.for the night. Even though Double D is close to Interstate 40, we did not hear any traffic noise. Very peaceful with cotton on one side and cows on the other. We have stayed at other minimalist parks, RV Self Park, Loves, etc.and it is difficult to find one for less than $50 a night. Doubled takes cash or checks, you pull in, put your payment in the envelope provided & pick your spot. We will definitely make this one of our stops when traveling through this area. Highly recommend!"

"We didn’t stay but pulled over to take care of a mechanical issue. We parked out front for about 20 mins before getting back on the highway. It was too early for us to stop for the day for our traveling schedule but we will keep this park in mind when we travel back through. The park is close the highway but you barely hear any road noise. It has water, 30/50 amp service with one dump station location near the front. The restaurant is closed. Some trees are low and need to be trimmed for larger rigs but the grounds are clean. Nearby neighbor stopped to see if we needed help, which I found very thoughtful! And it’s for sale if you’re looking to get in the RV park world!"

"Stayed in this abandoned town. Very quiet. Cool route 66 stop if you walk around town. There was cotton growing right across the street. One man jail cell a couple of blocks away. Check yourself in. Full hook ups. All pull through."
