"Absolutely love the Dream Maker Station. Don't miss a chance to stop and chat with Jason and Kelly. They run a fantastic gift shop, but the conversation with them is where it's at. I've had the pleasure to talk with them on a few occasions; definitely some of my favorite people. Also, if you are a Disney Cars fan, the character Flo was based from a wonderful woman Fran who use to own this place and the diner next door; this makes them an authorized Pixar stop on Route 66."

"This was an amazing stop suggested by Walnut RV park host, Misty (who is also wonderful!). Great photo ops off the famous Route 66 (along I-40). My boys loved this stop and the owners were very nice. It was the day before my 6 year old’s birthday and Kelly was so gracious to offer him a free item from the store! He has talked about being in Texas for his birthday for weeks now and this really made it special for him since we were just traveling through and not able to take in many sights. They are working on adding cabins in the future ahead of the 100th anniversary of Route 66. Make sure to stop by and see them! The cafe next door looked nice also but is closed Monday/Tuesday."

"The Dream Maker Station is on the right side of the Midpoint Cafe. It is a souvenir shop, not a n an active gas station. Lots of cute items and picnic tables and rocking chairs for a rest stop."

"A relatively new stop but worth pulling off the road for a visit. Nice selection of souvenirs and a nice shady area to sit and visit with the owners or other travelers. Kelly and her husband really make you feel welcome."

"The owner is down to earth and very friendly. Earlier, we saw the ribbon cutting ceremony and decided we would stop by Vater lunch tonshop here. We are so glad we did. The shop has a good variety of souvenirs to select from. A cool place to visit and shop when passing through Adrian."
