"This park is thoughtfully designed and offers something for everyone. There are wide grassy areas with shade for relaxing, winding nature paths with flowing water and lush plants, and even spots where you can spot turtles. The playground is well-equipped and great for kids, while the walking trails are perfect for exploring and can even take you toward the observatory. It’s a well-rounded, peaceful place to spend time, whether you live nearby or are just passing through."

"Beautiful on a dry and cool January day. It only took about 25min up to Griffith Observatory, with plenty of stops for photos. It's busy but not terrible. We had an easy time getting a parking spot. Lovely little hike."

"Epic views of Los Angeles and a beautiful view while exercising! So many trail options and ample parking. A great way to escape the madness of the city and just appreciate nature, a good audio book or podcast. We did about 5mi round trip and got to see the Hollywood sign up close. I recommend bringing sunscreen and water. There’s picnic tables around the park to have lunch or to just chill and sit on a tree stump. Highly recommend this place if you’re in need of connecting with nature and self."

"Great trail that leads to longer trails going into griffith park. Weekend is difficult parking in the area but if you're able to, weekdays are manageable. Love the little coffee shop at the convergence of ferndell and the fire road trail into griffith. Also a park if kids want to run around and play."

"Such a tranquil and beautiful nature walk that for a second you forget you're right in the middle of the city. I love being out in nature and surrounded by greenery and taking a leisurely walk with a cup of coffee and this is that place. You may keep going and take a hike up to Griffith observatory from the same path. There's benches around so you can sit down and read a book or just sit and listening to the running water from the little ponds."
