"One can feel pitch black inside, when everybody turns off the flash light. Some of the flash lights were dim, but otherwise it was great and good info."

"Hands down one of the most amazing things I've ever done. Absolutely incredible and we had a fantastic, very knowledgeable guide. This was a get over my fear trip for me and it wasn't bad at all. Mostly plenty of space to move around and the excitement and awe overpowers the fear pretty much immediately, for anyone who is apprehensive. Totally agree with other reviewers that praised the more authentic experience since the cave lacks any electric lighting. Other than being damp, the floor is mostly paved or solid rock but shouldn't pose many if any mobility issues. There is a 100 ft section that requires stooping over with about 4 1/2 feet of clearance. I'm 6' and it wasn't bad."

"Came to the cave today for a guided tour. Didn't catch our guide's name but they were awesome, they said they're a grad student studying biology and work here during the summer and it was cool to hear the cave facts with the science lens. Our group was about 8 people, my party of 2 and a family with younger kids. The guide waited for us at all stops before talking and the facts were engaging for all ages, it was super enjoyable. Also great for a hot day since the cave is cold inside. We saw salamanders and lots of beautiful cave features. I liked that the cave emphasized conservation and that the cave is a delicate environment, we were really told not to touch any features and that's super important. Handheld flashlights were provided, there was a concrete path for some sections and a worn rock path for others. Bending/crouching was required for a couple of long sections but the rest you could walk upright."

"Great experience. Kids absolutely loved it. 90-minute tour. Get to crawl around and squeeze through some things. $12/adult, $8/kid, which is much more reasonably priced than Meracrap Caverns. There are bats in this cave, may or may not see any, tho. Would recommend going. Can buy the tickets at the shack to the left of the cave entrance and up the stairs, which opens 30 mins before tours (830, 1130, 1, 330, which may change), or can purchase tickets online. To the right of the cave is a path for another small cave. On the path, there are stairs that will lead to the free cave."
