"My boyfriend enjoys gold panning so when we say this place while driving into town we knew we would have to stop in! The shop was a fun quirky place to browse around and the gold panning was fun! Caleb gave us instructions on how to properly remove the dirt to expose the gold.. my partner commented several times even after we left that Caleb’s instructions were the best he’s been given during his handful of panning experiences.. Caleb and Rudy were both very friendly and helpful.. We were the only customers there at the time which was enjoyable .. but I hope they get enough customers to keep them in business for a long time.. the little ghost town facades and cemetery were also fun to walk through.. if you love a quirky kitschy place you’ll love it as much as us!"

"This place is awesome! I had so much fun picking out geodes and cracking them open. For me this was super special. I would recommend it for families and adults who like rocks and gems. Panning for gold was fun and cracking geodes was so entertaining. Definitely an experience you can't find anywhere else in Big Bear. Highly recommend doing this for families with young ones and any rock nerds out there. You can't miss this. Such a fun memory!"

"Rudi was totally amazing. Very kind informative and personal. It was almost closing time and she took her time to show my son and I around he got a really cool gemstone.
