Grand Canyon West Skywalk

"My husband and I had a great experience! We drove out from Las Vegas and the 2 hr drive was very smooth. Everyone was very nice. Shuttles ran very often to the different sites. We purchased the top package that included the sky walk, zip line, and gave discounts on food and souvenirs. Unfortunately 1 of the 2 ziplines was down due to new stairs needing to be installed. But the longer of the 2 was still available which was great. We brought refillable water bottles that we were able to fill at the gift shops fountains. Our lunch was pricey but very good. You have to try the fry bread! Overall it was worth the money and drive. We had a great time taking in the sites and learning Hualapai history. Perfect for couples, families with older kids, or even solo travelers. I would encourage early arrival. We arrived at 9 and we were able to beat most of the crowd. We didn’t purchase tickets ahead and didn’t have a wait to do so but it wouldn’t have hurt."

"First, I will I’ll say that this was an unforgettable experience that I will treasure the memory of for the rest of my life. There’s nothing like it anywhere else in the world. You park and you take a bus on about an eight minute drive to the rim. Once you get off the bus, it’s a very short distance to the skywalk, so it’s great for people that can’t walk long distances. Again, I would like to say that this was an incredible experience, but I was not expecting to pay $99 per person for it. I guess I didn’t think about it being a tourist attraction, and not a reasonably priced national park."

"It's hard to fully appreciate the scale of the Grand Canyon until you see it in person. The drive in was amazing in and of itself. Once you park , you go through security and walk in to the visitor's center. There they have souvenirs along with drinks and snacks. You can also buy tickets to walk the sky bridge, and catch one of the many busses that run to each stop throughout the day. After that, you can go to one of three stops and move at your own pace. Which is what we did. It was an amazing experience."

"I would like to give special thanks to the great Grand Canyon West team and the Hualapai Tribe. The reason is I accidentally left my expensive DJI tripod stick in the toilet at the ticketing office tent and I only realized it was missing when I'm up the mountain. The staffs and security was really helpful and they radioed the security at the tent below and they found it. The security also helped to drive down and bring it up back to me. I'm really grateful for their kindness and support. By the way, the tour bus guide was funny and they explained everything about the Grand Canyon during the short journey to the Skywalk point and Guano Point. The view is amazing and beautiful. We had fun and enjoy the beautiful sunset. It was a really memorable and valuable experience and worth the ticket price. Highly recommend to others!"

"First time visiting with friends. I've stayed in Vegas 3 times so it was only right to finally make it here. It took approx 2.5 hrs, there were a couple good areas to stop along the way with great views. Once at the Skywalk, and after a bit of touring the gift shops we waited for the transport bus for between 10-20 minutes. We took the bus a few times to numerous points. Great stops for initial photos. We stored some items in lockers, got up to the bridge and after a couple of group photos we got our booties on then shuffled out to the most amazing views I've seen. It just doesn't compute in the brain what you're actually seeing. It's mind blowing. So happy we went, was super breezy so secure ALL items! One lady lost her eyeglasses in a strong gust of wind. The unfortunate thing is that, they handed out a card with a QR code that each of us tried to search our photos to purchase but, still haven't found them yet 2 weeks later. Sad. Definitely recommend though, so come with a bit of removed fear to heights, the phone pics are really well appreciated, Wow!!"
