"LOTS of ducks, geese, and other birds that are in huge crowds because they're used to people! They sell bird food for the birds if you want to interact with them. (Don't pet; they are wild). Great for young kids! There's a good sized playground with plenty of picnic tables for parents to sit. But honestly the birds and waterfalls are way more fun to play/look at! Good sized lake for fishing!"

"Hesperia Lake Park is a great little get-away in the desert. Plenty of green trees and green grass. A play ground for the kiddos, picnic tables and ample trash receptacles. All the bathrooms are port-a potties. There is a general store that basically carries, water, soda, beer, ice, jerky, and assortment of individual sized snack chips. You can buy small bags of duck food for $1. Fishing is allowed on the lake but no boating or swimming is allowed. Overnight camping is also permitted, for a fee. Open pit campfires also not permitted. Great place for an afternoon picnic with your special someone or a weekend camp out with the family."
