The museum is housed in the wonderful old Barth’s Department Store Building which is also interesting. We really found it to be a great collection and well laid out to be easy to enjoy."

6 months ago"Very cool musuem, nice displays very warm and welcoming. Nice native American displays and very clean. Elevator center of building great access for people with disabilities, or stairs to get your cardio in lol. Will be back nice little hidden gem in downtown springfield."

a year ago"This place is so fun, and beautifully organized. I'm looking forward to going more. The interactive kid displays were phenomenal. My children really enjoyed the Wild Bill shoot out area, and the trolley and train exhibits. The game in the train was really hard and the last activity we did before it was time to go, but my oldest asked if we could go back. Absolutely stop in!!"
