"Best spot to catch the sunset in the Grand Canyon. It gets a little crowded but not too bad. The pro tip is to stick around at least 15 minutes or so after the sun actually passes the horizon. Most folks will up and leave right away but the best views are really in the afterglow. Most of the year, you have to take the red shuttle to get here. However, December through February, the road is open to the public so you can just drive up and park."

"One of the most well known spots for sunset in the park, and for good reason! Great view of the canyon and river out to the west, and also to the north. Definitely check it out but be ready for crowds at sunset!"

"Very Beautiful and awe-inspiring, especially at sunset. We went on Tuesday night during what I believe is the off season, if thre is such a thing. Few people were around (February 18). Despite the cold and windy weather, it's worth the drive. There are pullout, but not much parking."

"Fantastic place to catch the sunset. We got here a little earlier than most and had a great view that didn't seem very popular, as it was just us there for the majority of the time. I sat right up next to the fence without issue and got some great photos. Highly recommend."

"Hopi Point is the absolute best location to view sunset at the South Rim. The only delays or lines that could keep you from arriving on time are the red line bus capacity issues. Get to the Red Line station at least an hour prior to sunset or trek the 2 miles (40mins.) from Bright Angel but be prepared for the uphill hike of it. Hope you all enjoy it as much as we did!"
