"Humiston Woods Nature Preserve is one of Livingston County’s hidden gems. With several miles of well groomed trails, the Vermilion River, Wolf Creek, a kids fishing pond, several pavilions, picnic areas, a canoe landing, and much more; the Humiston Woods Nature Preserve is a great lace to enjoy nature and relax."

"Such a peaceful well taken care of woods. One of my favorite places to go that isn't too far away."

"Beautiful Preserve, well marked paths, heavily wooded. The pavilions are great, and the fishing platforms large enough for a few anglers to share comfortably. The large pavilion and firepit are are very well maintained. Dirt paths with poor drainage turn into mud with the least amount of rain. Bathrooms are pretty gross. No toilet paper in multiple stalls. Too small to fit most grown adults comfortably. The handicap bathroom isn't large enough to fit a wheelchair or mobility aids. There also isn't a handicap bathroom available at the parking lot, it's a hike down to get there. There's no place available to change a baby or toddler. I had to resort to the back seat of my car. Overall, a great little hike."

"We are blessed to have a nice local area for walking hiking and mountain biking. It is on the smaller side but the maintenance crew does a good job keeping up with the trails. Great access to the river or a small fishing pond."
