Not gonna lie, conservation knows what's up when it comes to running/providing us with absolutely amazing and well up-kept shooting ranges for the public to enjoy with an amazing pricetag - $ Free.⁰⁰ The few folks that I've come across here have all been extremely friendly and hospitable, as well as practicing safe firearm handling habits. This particular conservation range is wicked cool in the sense that each of the shooting lanes are divided by mounds that go the entire length of the yardage you're shooting making it MUCH safer than any other range I've been to. The other great think about here is that, instead of stopping at 100 yrds max distance, they go out to 200 yrds and it definitely adds more of a challenge when you're trying to hit a dime at that distance with the ol' 5.56 AR. Possible? 😉🤭🫡 But it took 5 shots as opposed to my regular 1-2 @ 100.. now the ol' 9mm pistol? This distance is what makes practice, betting, friendly competition and 🤏 skill sooo satisfying @ the range. Average day I can usually hit an 🍎 in >5 rnds @ 75 yrds... Took 8 for me to hit a damn 🍅 @ the 200.. absolutely worth checking out and worth the drive. As always, stay safe is #1, please clean up and leave it nicer than when ya got there so as to show our appreciation for nature as well as Missouri Conservations awesomeness for setting these places up for the public to enjoy... FOR FREE! almost forgot, during the summer, definitely bring wasp spray... Like 2 or 3 cans, especially if you plan on having to take a leak in the ol' outhouse.. getting a wasp sting on the ding-a-ling is enough to make a Sasquatch scream.. promise. Seen it happen.. twice to be exact. Ain't seen Bigfoot ever since.. 🥺😅"
