"I have been to this museum several times, finally asked about being volunteer. It is a small museum, but very nice, the displays are informative and interesting. The model trains are wonderful. One of the layouts has several nearby towns represented and well done. There is always something new to discover. Wonderful stop for kids and adults. Give yourself a treat and stop by."

"The staff were extremely knowledgeable, friendly/polite, talkative, and I could tell how passionate they felt about the museum just by how they were explaining everything. It was really nice. Pleasant. Quaint. They shared lots of history about different trains. I learned quite a bit. It was really a wonderful experience with my family. Can't beat the price either. It's definitely worth seeing!! 😁 I definitely plan to go again the next time I am in Kingman."

"Kingman Railroad Museum Route 66 Kingman, Arizona Yesterday we decided to revisit the Kingman Railroad Museum. Our last visit was probably was several years ago. The admission price is $2.00 per person. It was a great experience. I love watching model trains and was fascinated by the small details on each of the segments. There was even a guy climbing a mountain trying to get away from a bear. Of course there is lots of history that can be seen throughout the museum. The people working there were all very friendly and informative which made the experience great. They were so great to speak with."

"Cozy little museum run and staffed by very friendly volunteers who either worked on the railroad or are big train buffs or both. Located inside the restored Kingman train depot dating from 1907 which still functions as an actual stop for the Amtrak Southwest Chief, the museum has two main rooms. One has the entrance, a small library, a children's area, and various train-related artifacts, while the other has three large model train layouts in HO, N, and O gauge. At just two dollars for the entrance fee, it's well worth a visit."
