There is an amazing playground nearby but best to not play on while wet as the slides can be dangerous."

There is a concession stand with very reasonably priced snacks mostly directed towards kids. Free admission and parking, you can bring your own snacks and sit at one of the many picnic tables provided on the park lot."

The picnic areas are shaded pavilions with grills and tables. The park is clean and very well maintained. Good free activity to occupy the kids. Could definitely pack some sandwiches and make a day out of it."
