"This was a neat stop considering the historical significance that Lewis & Clark took off from here as their last stop in civilization on their journey out west. The kill boat was neat to look at the museum is small, but informative with a few nice artifacts. Admission fee is reasonable. It was a quick stop for us and sits on the Missouri . We enjoyed it. If you like history and are in the area definitely drop in."

"Interesting little museum! Lots of new things to learn and displays, to look at. They have a gift shop and a free scavenger hunt. Clean restrooms and plenty of parking! They offer a discount for military! See the large Lewis and Clark statue a short walk across the parking lot and across creek."

"The museum provides information about the Lewis and Clark expedition 1804-1806. Handicraft miniature landscapes, people, horses, bison, indian villages, boats and more tell the story of the voyage from the Mississippi to the Pacific Ocean. The bookstore has many interesting maps, books, toys and more associated with the exploration. It is conveniently located at the Missouri River on one end of the Frontier Park and close to Saint Charles historic district."

"Lots of great information and history here. I think the coolest thing is the full size keelboat on display. Lots of free parking available and open space outside for wiggling kids to run."

"This is a very cool museum tucked into the riverfront next to Historical St. Charles. Very cool area! The museum has a lot of information but only takes a time commitment of 1-2 hrs. so you can do both. Very affordable pricing for our family of 5 and there is a parks membership doscount. The facilities are new, clean, and has a patio area that is very nice. We went with 3 young boys and the giftshop has a lot of good finds for kids to encourage exploring and learning more about Lewis and Clark. Worth the visit!"
