"Little Blue State Park is a must-see. As a local to the area who lives within 30-minutes to the park, this is one of our favorite places to hang out during the summer. The weekends are very busy and during the summer holidays, Little Blue will be packed out. Cars and off-road vehicles will be driving everywhere and the people will park in any open available spot. It can sometimes be difficult to find parking when it's super busy. There are campsites at this location, and they tend to book out in advance. However, if you visit during a weekday, you'll more than likely have the entire park to yourself and that will seem like a luxury and relaxing oasis. Although this may seem like a "party" spot on the weekends, it is truly relaxing nearly anytime throughout the week. Due to the influx of people, there are times, especially after major holidays, where you'll come across all sorts of trash anywhere and everywhere that people have left drink containers and/or food behind. I do wish there were a larger clean-up effort put towards the State Parks in Oklahoma-- including this one. It is such a beautiful place and it is disheartening to see people trash it out. Overall, Little Blue State Park is a fun and enjoyable place to visit. It is great for any nature enthusiasts. The water is cold and clear. There is a small waterfall. You can climb and explore the rocks. Or you could even visit the little cave on-site. People often fish in the lakeside area that is below the creek. It's also fun to watch the off-road vehicles climb the rocks too. There is a little of something for nearly everyone here to-do. Although I would not recommend it as an accessible place to visit. Be sure when traveling or camping here to take your trash with you or utilize the dumpsters on-site."

"Great little gem. The water is so clear you can see the fish and crawfish swimming around. Many shady areas to relax and set up your chairs. I recommend wearing good water shoes because it’s very rocky. Pack a picnic and please dont litter. That was the worst, seeing all the beer cans, trash, and even a dirty diaper. Gross! Clean up after yourself and leave this beautiful place clean for others. Some places are deep so be cautious. Bring a tube and relax floating on the water."

"I was introduced to good ole lil blue as a kid. I brought my hubby with me to check it out. He was thoroughly impressed. The park was pretty packed and seemed to be decently maintained given how busy it was that day. The water was clear as always. We brought our drone along that has a 4k camera. I wish I could post the video but I took some screenshots and shared them with you guys! We didn’t think to take pics in the air lol."

"This place has had a special place in my heart since highschool. It is not very secret anymore but the waters are still as cold!! The creek goes for a good distance, so there are plenty of areas to play in. There is no charge to come and play. Be sure to bring water shoes as there are tons of rocks."

"This was a stop off point on our way to Utah from Chicago. We absolutely loved it here. Next time, I would camp here to be able to spend more time. Definitely enjoyed spending time here and checking out the water"
