a year ago"Check yo self for ticks after hike walk around the whole lake.. it’s a real thing. Watch for hiking signs. There are at least 12 or 13 of them. Nice place to boat, and fish. If you like that kind of thing."

a year ago"This is a lovely conservation area to explore. We first visited in early spring so there weren't any flowers or much foliage, but even then we saw beautiful scenery. We made it a point to return when we were passing through Rolla in the summer, and were satisfied that our first impression was correct. The parking lots allow quick access to the lake and trails. There are a few picnic tables for eating lunch. The trail is nice with lots of shade, and a number of places to get scenic views of the lake."
