"We've enjoyed our stays at the Stanton camp. The people are fun, welcoming and helpful... There are a lot of fun events that are hosted on a regular basis. You're far from asphalt and city noise, which makes it a more peaceful stay. It's wonderful that at night, you can actually see the stars since you're far from city lights."

"The staff are the best. Carl the caretaker of Stanton is the most hardworking person I've ever known and always ready to help if you are in need. Thanks to Kenny who helps Carl. Kathy and Liz keep the office running smooth. Linda and Donna are awesome with activities. Go if you can. It's a great community. Thanks for the best time everyone!"

"If you are into gold prospecting then this is for you. Its a campground on a 100+ year old mining camp with original buildings in the Rich Hill/Stanton area. LDMA, GPAA, Road Runner claims to work all around. Love the friends I have made in Camp. Lots of gold tales and talks.🤠"

"Great desert camping spot with access to gold claims for prospecting fun. The sites are well located with all levels from dry camping to full hook ups. Everyone is friendly and the staff and volunteers are awesome. You can be as social as you want with weekly activities and club events or just play in the dirt looking for gold. I have met many new friends and prospecting partners at LDMA Stanton and look forward to returning next fall."

"We always enjoy staying at Stanton Camp. The people are great and the activities are fun. Take your time on the dirt road coming in, and be sure to bring extra sewer hose if you're RV camping. They do have limited spares to loan out, but the connections are toward the front of the sites- just something to be aware of. The sites are plenty big to park next to the RV even if you have to set up a little forward to reach the hook-up."
