"Easy to find. Plenty of campsite options with privacy. Wonderful view and lots of campfire pits .. at least 3 where we parked. The main road is well maintained and the paved road has lots of bumps. We were lucky it did not rain. I had hoped to see some animals but we were only there a day and slept half of it"

"Keep an eye out for Moodini. He keeps escaping from the nearby property. You might also see Moochael Jackson doing the moonwalk across the cattle guard. Pepé and Giussepe Le Pew came right into our campsite late at night. They are always looking for love in all the wrong places. They weren't nearly as chatty as the Gurkey Turkeys that we ran into on the way to the lake. We tried all the fancy lures we heard Mike the Pike likes. Only thing we caught at Lake Mary was a scary spider we named Harry."

"What an amazing and free place to camp!! Had 4g, reliable cell service, and plenty of camping spots to choose from. The BEST part was the wildlife! Over 100 elk came out from the woods about a mile away from camp to graze and kept to themselves + you could hear the elk at night. Ill definitely stay here again!"

"While the forest service road 128 is in good condition, no washboard, not too many potholes, but many sites are with many many rocks embedded in the soil sticking out, make parking not always easy or even. Some sites hv leftover trash, generally quiet during our stay from Sat to Tues. Lots of cow dunk, even on the dried lake. Not too many sites can accommodate rigs longer than 40ft without hitting tree brunches or even ground."

"Pretty cool secluded little lake marsh area. Dirt road leads to it so no hiking involved to get here. There are alot of tent and rv campers boondocking in the area so I'd suggest to always be aware of your surroundings. Not saying it isn't safe but you are secluded out in a quiet area"
