3 weeks ago"This was a very informative and horrific experience. It was sad to learn how people were being tortured throughout the years but it was educational to see each torture contraptions. I enjoyed the interactive elements, audio guide and ghost game that was included in the price. The experience took about 2 hours but that’s because my group went slow and we were discussing the torture methods, taking pictures and reading the history behind them. Just be cautious, parking is a bit difficult to find and expensive. There is parking right behind the torture museum and it is really really expensive for honestly anything over 1 hour, which we didn’t realize until later."

3 months ago"This was a fun stop to pop in to while we were visiting Chicago. There was no wait and it is a self guided tour through the museum. There is a scannable code and an audio tour to accompany you which you can pause or restart each numbered section as you go along. I recommend an earbud or headphones with your phone if you truly want to listen if there are other people walking through. It was very interesting, slightly creepy, and interactive. If you enjoy the oddities in life, definitely stop by. I do believe it is 5 to 10 bucks cheaper if you order your tickets on their website."
