a year ago"We were diving along Route 66 in Oklahoma checking out things to do and we stumbled across Mickey Mantles childhood home. Pretty cool that it was just there that close to us. We drove by at night so it was kind of dark, but we still got to see the home and take some pictures. The house is closed during the day and at night and you can only take pictures from the outside. Good little stop right off the highway."

a year ago"The placard by the front door is interesting. You can't go inside the home, but you can see in the windows. I would suggest that if you stop by, make sure it's a nicer day and not too soggy/rainy if you want to walk around the home. A quick stop just off the highway."
