Missouri Botanical Garden

"The Christmas lights at the Botanical Gardens were the prettiest I have ever seen. There was at least an hour walk through of all the stunning lights with great accessible walkways and so much to look out and explore. Definitely buy your tickets in advance but it is so worth the price. The Victorian era house on the property is beatiful but about an hour wait to see inside for a busy self guided tour. Overall absolutely incredible place and I love all that is happening here."

"We scheduled our visit to the garden in November. The outdoor plants were dormant so we went into the Climitron (green house). It was delightful! There were plaques explaining the different kinds of plants and there were some beautiful tropical flowers. I recognized many plants as ones I've only seen used as decorative house plants. It was lovely to see them in a native setting. Being a green house, it was also nice to walk out of the blustery cold into the comforting warmth. I highly recommend this visit while you're at the Missouri Botanical Garden."

"We came for the first time to attend the Garden Glow. We were nervous about parking but the parking situation really wasn’t bad. We ended up using the street parking which was a very short walk to the entrance. My family loved seeing the lights and using the photo ops. We didn’t have anyone in a wheelchair or stroller but it appeared to be well equipped for anyone who did. We look forward to attending again in the summertime."

"We have been to many botanical gardens throughout the world and this is one of our top 5 . Super clean and easily laid out. Their is an admission fee but totally worth it. We walked the gardens but their is a tram available. The entrance is stunning and there is a small cafe and gift shop. We loved the Japanese gardens as well as the Dome Conservatory. Check their web site for hours of operation and admission info."

"We went for the Garden Glow Christmas light display. I realize they sell the tickets in 15 minute blocks but not sure why because the parking was insane and the crowd was still crazy busy. They should have "Adults only" nights and more than just one so you can enjoy the lights without kids running and screaming as your walking throughout. The tickets were a little high and then there is the cost of food and drinks that were outrageous, $12 for an adult hot chocolate in which you could barely taste the liquor. But all said and done, the lights and displays were amazing."
