"My mom and I came here on our last day of our trip, and I am happy we did! All the rooms were beautifully designed to enjoy the pieces and I felt they gave everything what they deserved. I loved the room that had all the miniature pieces to make the art."

"The famous Girard Wing of this museum is quite quirky and unusual, not set up in the standard museum format at all. Rather than putting each object in its own display with a placard and space to breathe, all of the items from Girard's collection are set up in themed dioramas where items from different time periods and cultures intermingle. The only labels are small numbers which correspond to explanations of the different art form in the printed museum guide. I think the creative display choices could probably be the subject of a museum studies dissertation. It's a fascinating place to get lost in the organized chaos. The contemporary exhibits we saw, including one on telephone wire weaving in South Africa and prison art, were equally fascinating."

"Theres a little bit of everything here for everyone to see! It was a $12 fee for me to walkabout as long as I wanted. I came here for the miniature exhibits & got more than I bargained for. Sadly I had limited time here & I did not have time to visit the other museum directly next door. I enjoyed how the museum is organized here, where they have a vast, diverse majority of displays with only code numbers on them, making it so you need to read through a provided booklet and find more information about the specific exhibit youre looking for more info on. Very interesting and wide selection to look through. Would visit again!"

"Fantastic, well organized, thought provoking installations, not too crowded, interesting, something for everyone. I learned quite a bit about the cultures that contributed and saw materials used in ways I might never have thought possible. It is an inspiring and colorful place. Go check it out!"
