Officer Blake C. Snyder Memorial Park

"Great park! Perfect place to walk, run, bike, host an event, use the exercise equipment, fly a kite, and play on the playground. I used to run around here as a kid, back when it was Clydesdale Park. My friends and I would run laps around the baseball field to practice our mile times. There are some really good dirt trails for walking and running too, which we used for warm ups. Nowadays, my husband and I will come around here to fly kites/RC planes and drive around our RC car. The field is really open and flat, and has really good visibility. We'll walk around too sometimes! It's a perfect location to walk and talk. Yesterday, I walked around to take photos for this review. The grass, trails, and paved paths are super well kept. The old checker-patterened exercise stops along the paths are a little worn looking but still seem sturdy enough. The paths are wide and smooth, easy to travel with plenty of room for people to pass by. The twists and turns are pretty gradual and there aren't too many hard hills. This park is also special because it connects to Grant's Trail! There are plenty of mile markers and maps to help you along if that's why you're at this park. Bathrooms are clean, there's plenty of parking, and there are a looot of Poké stops and gyms if you like to play Pokémon Go (game app). I think you'll enjoy your visit if you give this place a try :) Perfect park!"

"A hidden treasure just off St. Louis Downtown! This park has trails, an awesome picnic spot, a large covered area for barbecuing, a lawn and trails, paved and unpaved. It's really easy to get to and located a little off the exit 199 from I-55. The other approach is from S. Lindbergh. We spent about half a day here and enjoyed our time. We did three trails and used the 'gym' equipment that's located conveniently along the trail. The floor for it is a soft mat that you can be certain to protect you even if you fall while fooling around. I realized our gym at the apartment doesn't have these facilities as an outdoor park! Pack a picnic basket and go here. You can relax. Run with your pet if that's your thing. Play ball. Throw a frisbee. There's room for everyone and everything. The park is beautiful and well maintained. The Snyder memorial Park is yet another example of poor marketing by St. Louis. It took us two years to realize that a park like this exists not so far from Costco at Rusty Road!"

"My son had his soccer games here. When they are playing, there is nowhere to park and you have to walk a bit of a ways to the games. And it's all uphill if u can't find a spot in the main upper parking lot."

"Great park with a mix of both paved trail (an extension of the popular Grant's Trail) and fun singletrack/dirt trails. The paved trail has somewhat dated exercise stations. Dirt trail goes down to a creek which is perfect for skipping rocks. Be careful as there can be debris along the creek (sometimes glass). Plenty of open fields for playing ball or flying a kite. Playground is small but still fun. Lots of places for a picnic."
