Pioneer West Museum

"Unfortunately the museum was closed on the day of our visit. But we took a few photos of the area while the sun was setting. Hope to return one day and view the collection in the building."

"Loved this museum. Filled with old antiques and artifacts. Hosts were very friendly. Loved how museum was separated into various rooms representing building types such the post office, dentist office, doctor's office, press room, schoolroom, etc. Well worth the time. Really fun to explore."

We loved visiting the museum, learning a little more about American history and Route 66, but we especially liked the friendliness and affection with which the two ladies welcomed us. "XLNT, historical place to visit. Very nice & informative docent. Many rooms loaded with pics, clothes, furniture, personal items, etc. There were no instant lights, plumbing, HVAC, phones, TVs/radios, etc. Those who lived then would be amazed at our cozy, daily lives in this century, for sure!"
