"On November 12, 2025, my son and I visited the CSUSB Museum and we honestly had an amazing time. The exhibition felt both welcoming and thoughtfully curated, with a clear story that pulled us in from the moment we walked into the galleries. What stood out most was how the displays created a real sense of a “journey”—especially the sections focused on ancient Egypt and beliefs about the afterlife. Seeing pieces like funerary objects, small figures, carved fragments, vessels, and a beautifully presented sarcophagus-style display made the history feel tangible and close. The lighting and glass cases were clean and professional, and the layout gave each object space to breathe, so you could actually slow down and appreciate the details. We also liked the way the exhibition mixed artifacts with interpretive text—enough information to learn, without overwhelming the experience. It sparked great conversations between me and my son, and that’s always the best part of a museum visit: you walk out still talking about what you saw and what it means. As a CSUSB alum, I’m genuinely proud of this museum. My family and I try to come whenever there’s a new exhibition because we want to support the museum and the university community. This visit reminded me why—CSUSB Museum consistently delivers experiences that feel educational, inspiring, and worth returning for. Highly recommended."

"The museum visit was so much fun. I went with my siblings for a project I had to do for an art history class, and it was absolutely amazing. Don't be confused by the quietness if you go there on a weekday - it was an absolute blast. The art was laid out in a clean and well-organized way, and the staff was very helpful. My siblings (ages ranging from 12-18) and I all loved it and found it to be a very fun experience."

"What a gem in San Bernardino. My family and I came to RAFFMA to see Katherine Posadas MFA Exhibit Salvadoran Roots, American Dreams. What a treat to also see the amazing Egyptian collection, and the different types of printmaking. There are Andy Warhol works on display. Parking is $10 and the entrance is free, but you can make a donation which I strongly recommend. Great activity to do with family on the weekend. They were open at 11 am on Saturday. Give yourself 1 to 2 hours to soak everything in, then take a walk around CSUSB campus. It's quiet, and serene on the weekends. Beautiful surrounded by trees and mountain views."

"Been a while since I was on a college campus. Felt nice to be at a place of higher education. Friendly young-adults going about their schooling. Museum is on the CSU San Bernardino campus. Egyptian and "Dia De Los Muertos" exhibits were interesting. Also the entry hall was filled with photos and history of the San Bernardino comunity. Didn't quite get the groove of the "Brown" exhibit. It's a small, quaint museum. Good size to stay awhile and enjoy."

"Excellent university museum with an outstanding collection of ancient Egyptian funerary items. The person(s) who wrote the descriptions for the pieces did an amazing job. This is one of the best we have seen in dozens of university museums across the country. Other exhibits were really very well done as well. Learn some things we never knew. Museum staff was great and very helpful. Thanks for a job well done."
