"The park is in mostly good condition but there is a considerable amount of moss and growth under the slide areas. The barrier between the ground and playground was sourced using some alternative type rubber and it's crumbling. The garbage cans should be cleaned a bit more often, people like to bring their own alcohol to make adult slushies from the ice cream shop next door. I don't care to see bottles and boxes of beer at my kids park, that's my biggest gripe. People should have fun. Garbage should be cleaned more. Now, onto more happy stuff. I've been coming here for about 30 years. My family would drive nearly an hour here back in the day just for ice cream way back when it was called "Creamy Delight". Rich and Creamy is the new name and I think they serve a soft serve style probably ice cream and not yogurt. It's not super creamy like the fake McDonald's ice cream but it's pretty good. The baby cone is good enough to feed a 5 year old so don't let them talk you into a small one cause they never finish it (in my experience). I love this dinky little ice cream place. The paint is peeling a bit and it looks like it's definitely seen better days but that A/C sure still is cold in there so they're doing something right. The line gets long and they should have a better queue because it's dangerous standing along the busy road. There are lots of men with really big trucks in Joliet and they want you to know they are big and strong and drive fast. And lastly, I just wanted to say I learned how to kiss right here in this parking lot. Thank you Ricky Martin picture I won from Haunted Trails in 1999. and also to Rich and Creamy for making good stuff. Great family spot for making memories."
