3 years ago"This was our first time at this park as we just recently moved to Maplewood. Our little boy Ozzie loved it! There were plenty of kids for him to run around and play with and he loved all the different slides."

a year ago"Formerly Junior High School Park because there once was a junior high school there, Ryan Hummert Memorial Park has become a place of both fun, spectacular views, and reverence. Renamed in honor of a fallen firefighter, there's something for everyone to enjoy. A playground for the kids. A baseball/soccer field for friends to play sports. A fence surrounds most of the park, making it ideal to play with the dog with a reduced chance of them running off. But the main feature of this park for over the last decade is the memorial to a local hero. Behind him is a view of the valley to the east, with a view of part of the City of St. Louis. To the east northeast, the Gateway Arch can be seen. To the east southeast, a view of the Old State Mental Hospital. No matter what the season, it is worth visiting."

3 years ago"The park and Turf is in excellent condition. There's a pavilion and lots of big trees to have Shady picnics at there's an event at the park about once a month. Overall a very alive and nice park"

3 years ago"Beautiful park with lots of grassy areas for kids to play, nice big playground and baseball and soccer fields. Surrounded by trees , beautiful setting. Baseball fields, soccer fields. Bathrooms. Picnic tables."
