Saint Louis Science Center

"The Saint Louis Science Center is a fun and educational place, especially for families and kids. It offers many interactive exhibits that make learning engaging and hands-on, covering topics like space, health, technology, and engineering. The building is spacious, well-organized, and easy to explore at your own pace. One downside is parking—you usually have to pay for the official parking garage. However, there is free street parking available nearby if you don’t mind walking a bit. During busy times, some exhibits can feel crowded. Tip: Admission is free, so it’s a great budget-friendly attraction. Try to visit earlier in the day for fewer crowds, and consider street parking if you want to avoid parking fees."

"It is a great place to take your kids. They have many sections with interactive exhibits. The paleontology and geology section with the dinosaurs is impressive. The manned booths for science activities are also good. Most of the areas are free-of-charge to access. It is clean and well-maintained."

"The exhibit Pompeii very well done and has extraordinary artifacts. There is an interactive movie that is a must see and it explains the events of the catastrophe, it's maybe 3min long. The cast replicas of the victims of Pompeii, are shockingly life like and eerie to see, especially sad is the one of the dog left behind. This exhibit is not noisy like the rest of the Science Center, it's quiet and calm. There is a charge to get in: Child $16, Senior $20, Adult $22. It is a couple of dollars more for weekends. There is also a $15 charge to park. "Kids always enjoy their time at the Science Center. So many unique things to do/see and interact with here year round. Always been a geek for science and love to experiment, so I enjoyed myself here as well since a kid🤞🏽❤️"

"Very nice museum! Several exhibits, but most of the best exhibits are not in the main the buildings but rather in the tunnel that connects the two buildings. The vault and the lower level of the main building had the best exhibits out of everything there. The main building has multiple floors but there’s honestly not much available beyond what’s on the main floor. This science center is definitely more kid oriented, and there were a lot of hands on kids activities. The main building is devoted mostly to families and younger children, but once you hit the vault and the second building it leads to, it’s more adult/teen friendly. If you’re looking for something more adult/teen oriented I would say this isn’t it. Expect to be surrounded by lots of young kids. In other cities I’ve visited this would be labeled a “Children’s Science Center” to make the distinction. But it’s not horrible and we spent a good hour and half or longer exploring everything. I wouldn’t visit again as an adult with no young children, but I’m not disappointed we went."
