"TLDR: Glad we tried it but wouldn’t go a second time. We (my husband and I) visited the water park on a Sunday. You have to buy wrist bands ($15 each) and a parking pass ($10) at the Santa Rosa Convention Center down the road. That part was easy. The Water Park has five sections. One with the floating platforms and inflatable slides, one with a large water slide, one with three diving boards, one with paddle boats, and the last area consists of a kiddie play area. The floating platforms area consists of a few inflatable platforms and a few inflatable slides. Wearing a life vest is mandatory and the site host provides one for each guest. Not all of the slides have a landing platform in front of them so climbing up onto the slides from the water was very hard. They don’t have a ladder either, so you are trying to hook your foot into a stirrup at chin/ear level and then pull yourself up onto the inflatable slide. I saw children and adults struggling with this. Only a few teenagers and a couple adults seemed able to climb up. My husband could do it but I wasn’t able to so we moved onto another section. The water slide was cool but slow for adults. The water was pretty warm and smelled fishy. The diving boards area was nice. And we had fun jumping off. There were several families who had set up picnics and were having a fun day at the lake. Would recommend for a lake/picnic/swim day. But not worth the cost for the wrist band, unless the team makes the water park area more accessible and usable for more age groups! The Water Park is right next to Blue Hole which we actually had more fun at and doesn’t require a wrist band. Easy jumping off point into a very cold, refreshing pool of water!"
