My wife, Laura, and I took our "cheagle" puppy (Shadow) out there with us. He had a "blast"; just loved it!! This park has (2) shelters, a swimming pool w/concession stand, (2) basketball courts, a set of tennis courts, picnic tables, grills, plenty of swings & playground equipment for the kids, a baseball/softball diamond & public bathrooms. They even have (2) horseshoe pits there; that's awesome!! A very beautiful park that sits off National just south of Kearney Street. The city did an amazing job with this park. Go visit it & judge for yourself!! One of the best city community parks that I have seen in any city. It provides for a great family outing, a nice stroll through the park, or a nice walk with your dog."
