"The Watershed Nature Trail is absolutely beautiful and kept up so well. A wonderful place to get away from it all and enjoy nature. The walking trails are on and off pavement, an amazing over the water walk that can get you up close and personal to wildlife. A great place for bringing your children and sharing nature with them. Make the Watershed Nature Trail a part of your weekly walking schedule, it’s ever changing each time you go. A hidden treasure in Edwardsville!!!"

"My family and I recently spent a fantastic day at the Watershed Nature Center. We took a hike along the beautiful, well-maintained trails and were absolutely blown away by the scenery. The views of the lake and marsh areas were stunning, and we were so excited to see tons of wildlife along the way. It was also great to see so many friendly people enjoying the center. We had such a wonderful time and can't wait to go back again soon."

"First time being at this local gem. Beautiful place. The circle around the marsh is about 1 mile. Easy place to walk. Decent amount of people on a Sunday but still able to enjoy the surroundings."

"A really great nature preserve area with well paved and mostly flat walking trails. It is popular with bird watchers, also. There is plenty of wildlife to enjoy and plenty of shade. Along the trails there are multiple benches to relax on. There is a small visitors center with restrooms and there are also restrooms available in the parking area. Dogs are allowed on leash. There is a picnic area, playground, and other sports facilities adjacent to the parking lot."
