a month ago"Parts of Tucumcari look like 1984 Detroit. Entire blocks are burned down, houses and businesses abandoned, the city takes no remediation action. Streets are falling apart, some seem like they're almost unpaved. The train don't stop here no more. Route 66 died when interstate 40 took over. But there's a really good Mexican restaurant downtown, between the probation office and the disintegrating, boarded-up movie theater. And the old railroad depot looks cool!"
