Veterans Woods - Traders Corner

"This place is nice and clean and a large area of woods are around it. The place has to small grills, a covered area where about 30 people can sit at picnic tables. There are trash cans and recycle containers, some grassy area for kids or dog recreation. Only thing missing is those little plastic bags for dog poop. Did I mention there is a permanent traditional waterless restroom is also available. The whole park is very nice and pleasant, I highly recommend it. And one more thing I want to mention. It is two separate adjacent locations linked with a short paved walking trail in the woods. Both locations have their own car entrances and paved parking lots."

"Been a visitor for years and have rented the pavilion. Numerous times. Always an adventure hiking through the woods along the creek beds. You will always find this place very clean and we'll maintained."

"Small little forest preserve. But has picnic tables and a bathroom. Very convenient to check your phone or eat a quick lunch or snack. It does also have a trail. Also very close to expressway."
