2 years ago"The trail is not for the amateur hiker it is a real wilderness area. If you can't navigate a forest don't attempt it without an experienced guide it is dangerous there's nothing safe about it. Even on horse back it could be seriously dangerous lots of big wash outs the farther you go in. We've actually walked all the way up the hill before but it's not easy and can be dangerous especially for the inexperienced. All that being said it's absolutely gorgeous lots of hibiscus in bloom and old growth hardwood forest. There are lots of predators bobcats, coyotes and we've seen bear tracks but not the bear. Deer are extremely plentiful as well jump deer every hike."
