We wanted to sell our car in Springfield so we looked for a trail near by. 🤗 There are quite a few trails there and many people taking advantage of the area for biking, running, walking, and hiking. Horses are allowed on some trails but we didn’t see any. Although there were a lot of people, it didn’t seem crowded. 🚶 The trail was mostly a gravel road with one water crossing. The info sheet calls the trail difficult, probably because of elevation gain, but it was overall an easy trail. No rocks to hop on the water crossing and our feet did get wet. 💦 For a sort of urban hike it was nice. We got some huffing and puffing in 😅 and a pretty good walk on a beautiful morning. It was fun to see the historical things along the way. 5 stars, would recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
