We stopped and stayed overnight at the Canyon Lodge recommended by Bridgette who works at LILO’s Cafe. Both located in Seligman Arizona. The nicest people there, they treated us like they knew us all our lives. The Canyon Lodge has different themes for the rooms. We had the John Wayne room….So cool, really clean and comfortable. We went back a few days later, we loved Seligman Arizona that much. I highly recommend visiting Seligman, you won’t regret it. We loved it."

The theme for us was route 66, well fitting. Walking distance to all the local things to see. Military discount. Small breakfast with coffee, juice and pastries."

Ours was the Waterfall one with a Southwestern flare. No picture unfortunately. It was all nicely decorated with paintings and wall art, flowers, wall painted, nice shower curtain, a cute desk. Even the sheets were personalized and of quality. No cheap motel sheets. The bed was extremely comfortable as well, and that alone is already a huge plus. The room also had a fridge and Keurig coffee maker. Bathroom was nice and spacious. Everything was extremely clean and didn't have that cheap motel "clean" smell. This didn't feel like a motel room at all, but more like a different home away from home. The person at the reception was also very nice and helpful. Finally, the price was unbeatable, we called other places around, most prices were unreasonable inflated even for a December 26! Very hard to go wrong with this motel! Seligman which we didn't know of, looked like a great little Route 66 stop, cute cute memorabilia all over town with original buildings and artifacts. Unfortunately we didn't have time to spend the morning as we had to hit the road again, but definitely worth a planned stop with a good breakfast, a morning stroll, and a stores hopping!"

The owners have a lot of pride in their property and it was a pleasure to see that when we spoke to Reinhard when checking in and both owners when checking out. Comfy king bed, ultra cleanliness what more could you want for GB£69. Thanks chaps you're running a perfect stopover there."

Let us park our motorcycles under the cover and gave us towels to dry them off in the morning. the themed rooms were so fun and very clean. We would definitely stay there again."
