"We were on the way back home from a camping trip across the states and everywhere right off this stretch of hwy was closed for tents. Called these guys and they were incredibly kind just said set up in the field and make yourself at home, didn't even charge us. The spot was great and the people were so nice, highly recommend."

"Right off I-40 Amarillo Texas. Quiet. Owners are friendly. Full hook-up. Not much amenities, much am’s but hey it’s peaceful and quiet. There’s long-term people here, but most are friendly. Only 2 who stay in the back who works here, stay clear of. They make up stories about people. Otherwise most people here are good and stay to themselves ! 👍🏻"

"This RV Park is the perfect place for the weary RV traveler. The woman providing availability information over the phone was very friendly & the sites are perfect for over-nighters. My only caveat is their WiFi: if this is important (which, in our case, it wasn't), then find another park. When I called the other equally nice after-hours woman to get the network name, she very cheerfully said, "I have no idea!" The WiFi password is provided on the Office door, but out of the 6-8 networks that popped-up (long-term park residents), the password was useless. Still five stars for friendliness of assistants & providing everything else, as specified."

"Outstanding people, in a bare minimum park. It is what you make of it. There is good water, and sewer hook ups that function properly. The grounds are well kept, and the sunsets over the grassland are beautiful. The wifi works really well. The full timers are delightful, helpful people. The owners, are kind and ever present. There are no showers, and there are no restrooms. That being said, there are showers at the Chisum convenient store nearby. Put the rental fee in the envelope, and put it in the gold mail slot. Its simple, and hassle free. I really enjoyed my stay at the AOK."

"5 stars for service since it is self service. Envelopes on "office" door with pricing and instructions. $34 nightly, pay your fee and find a spot. Simple as that. We arrived Nov 12 2025 and there were 10 open spots. Nothing fancy, this is not a resort, the name says it all - AOK Camper Park. Gravel sites with full hook ups, highly recommended for an overnight or two."
