Only reason it wasn't a 5 was the room phone didn't allow you to call down to reception and I was running a few minutes late and wanted to let them know but housekeeping assertively came to ask if I was leaving. The breakfast ended at 930 and I would have visited if it was still going until 945/10 but just missed it."

However, there is a serious issue that needs attention: mold. This is my second time staying here, and both times I experienced the same overwhelming damp, musty odor as soon as I walked into the room. It’s the kind of smell you’d recognize from old water-damaged cabinets, even though there aren’t any under the sink. On my first five-day stay, I left with a scratchy throat, watery eyes, and a runny nose. On this three-day stay, the same symptoms returned. I noticed the air conditioner doesn’t seem to drain properly, leaving standing water in the tray, and I suspect the bath/shower seal is broken, allowing water under the tile. Together, it creates a strong mold odor that’s hard to ignore. If you’re sensitive to mold, I would advise avoiding this hotel until the issue is resolved. It’s unfortunate, because otherwise this property is excellent."
